Trust Me, You'll Love This Book

A Match Well MadeMs. Cook's firm knowledge of her era (the 12th century) makes this story as enjoyable as her earlier works. A Twilight Clear is a satisfying tale for those who particularly like to follow the development of a tender relationship in marriage. The hero and heroine's feelings for one another are firmly in focus here.

A tour d'force of writing!

A fiction account of the settlement of Indian territory.Although some of the accounts are not quite believable, the book is very entertaining. I read the book in one day. I cannot wait for the next two volumes to be published.

Forgotten novella from "A River Runs Through It"

A book that makes a lasting impressionMost of all it demonstrated to me as a young girl the incredible power of Jesus to make a dramatic difference in the life of one who believes. It is a book that made a lasting impression on me and gave me a heart for the country of India.

Fantastic!

Easiest Ever CookerySilvana spends the first chapter teaching you how to stock your pantry up cheaply and easily. The rest of the book is full of yummy recipes based on a few easy-to-find ingredients, such as potatoes, onions, bread, and cheddar cheese.
Not surprisingly, out of the dozens of cookbooks I own, this is the one book I find myself turning to weekly.
One warning, the book is exceptionally English, so watch out for different names for things--the infamous "courgette" comes to mind--and for just a few ingredients that are hard to find stateside, such as double cream.
